Shiloh came in with a severe skin condition, allergies and almost no fur to speak of. Thankfully NPBR said yes to the ongoing care she was going to need. She has come a long ways including gaining all of her hair - and a bunch of personality - back!
Shiloh needs to be the only dog in her home - a true queen of her castle. While she’s not crazy over other pets, she’s absolutely loyal to her humans. She is sassy and loves to talk back, play and cuddle as close as possible. ***Shiloh’s allergy/skin care is ongoing and will need special attention in her future home.***
Good in a home with: No other pets, children and a full fence.

I’m a handsome 3-year-old boy that came to NPBR from one of their partner shelters. I had a small lump under my armpit. Once in the care of NPBR, I went to the vet to have the lump removed. Yes, it was a mass cell, and they got clean margins! Our vet feels like I will live a very prosperous life.
I love to cuddle, play with my foster sister, and really love those squeaky toys!
Good in a home with: Physical fence, no kids under 10 years old, and no small dogs or cats.

Hi everyone! My name is Elvis and I’m originally from OK. My previous owners surrendered me to the local shelter since they were moving and couldn’t take me with them. Luckily I wasn’t in the shelter log since these rescue groups network like crazy and got me up to Omaha.
You’re probably wondering why the name Elvis. Well, I had a thick gold chain around my neck when I arrived, I’m a southern boy, and my hips have a lot of sway when I walk.
Now, you’re probably wondering what a nice southern boy like me is like. I know lots of commands. My foster home keeps testing me with commands and I know em. They’re not sure how many I know since I keep showing them how smart I am. I love people (especially men & kids). I tend to sit as close to them as I can. I like to protect my home, too. I will bark and let everyone in the house know someone is close by. Once you’re in the house…I fall like a sack of potatoes and want my belly rubbed. Then, I’m off to find my ball since YOU WILL be playing fetch with me. I LOVE fetch! Lastly, I’ve been to the vet and received a clean bill of health & ready for an adopter.
Good in a home with: Physical fence, kids, and maybe a cat. I’ve been known to chase them, but if they come at me, I get scared.
